Your art is super cute, it reminds me of classic sonic and I love the polish :) my one critique is already said below, about the slipperiness of the character movement. I also fell through that first wooden platform to my death a few times because it wasn't differentiated from the others so I was a bit confused. Super strong concept so far though!

As was said below, the slipperiness of the character makes it easy to ramp up to speeds way too hard to control. The level design is really cool, I love the use of an underground cavern structure. The ladders, however, don't really function as "ladders", as in I can't use them to go back up; adding that functionality would be much easier to navigate the level. If you were to add on to  this maybe something in the sky to contrast it?  Also I noticed that when moving there are this flashing blue lines between the objects your platforms are made of, maybe some sorting layer issues you would want to look into. The art is cute and fitting, but I believe these are premade assets? I remember seeing them in some tutorial videos. If this is taken further I would love to see your own characters and art used to give it your own personal flair.

The pixel art is so great! I like the little fox and the shaky cherries. It is a little slippery to control and died a few times, so I come down from the ladder. But it is fun to play around and collect cherries.

Super cute art! The slipperyness and extreme momentum that the player sprite has is too much. It is very difficult to control. The level design is good, but very hard to navigate because of the player physics.

The art was so good!!! the ladders were a little weird to get on and off,,, I got stuck in a cave :(, but it was very fun!

I honestly don't think I can beat this game, but what I played was stunning! I love the pixel art style, the animations, the backgrounds, everything is so gorgeous! The controls are a bit finicky for me, like I have to jump directly on top of a ladder to go down it, but that's something you could fine-tune with more time. :)
